DYSPORT is a prescription medication very similar to Botox that had been used extensively in Europe under the name, Reloxin. Reloxin was brought to the USA by Medicis after it gained FDA approval in 2009 for the treatment of frown lines and crow’s feet wrinkles.
Dysport is a substance known as AbobotulinumtoxinA and is a form of medical-grade Botulinum toxin, which has been used by millions of people. Dysport is used by numerous different medical specialists to treat a variety of issues.

This proven, therapeutic muscle-relaxing treatment is best suited for moderate to severe crow’s feet and other “expression lines.” These are the wrinkles and lines that form from squinting, laughing, frowning, smoking and worrying. They can make you look older, angry, tired or stressed.
What Does BOTOX Treat?
We use Botox to treat wrinkles and unwanted creases in areas such as between the eyebrows, the forehead, crow’s feet, bunny lines of the upper nose, upper lip lines, around the mouth and for relaxing the platysmal bands of the neck. These can lend your face an angry, tired, or sad aspect, making you appear older than you feel. One of the chief causes of frown lines is overactive muscles in your brow. That’s where Botox Cosmetic can assist in refreshing and relaxing your appearance.
What to expect and how long does it take?
BOTOX® is a safe, effective treatment that takes approximately ten minutes to complete. Using a fine needle, BOTOX® is injected into the specific muscle that is contracting and causing the wrinkles to form. The injection simply causes the muscles being treated to relax. Your skin becomes unwrinkled and smooth. The effects of a single BOTOX® treatment will last approximately 3-4 months, with additional treatments often lasting longer. Results typically show in four to ten days
