The Treatment
The SkinVive™ by JUVÉDERM® treatment involves the precise injection of hyaluronic acid microdroplets into the dermis layer, enhancing skin health without altering facial shape or volume visibly. Each treatment session lasts approximately 15 minutes, with minimal downtime. Lidocaine is included in the formula to ensure a comfortable experience. Following treatment, it’s advisable to avoid strenuous exercise, prolonged sun exposure, heat, and alcohol for the first 24 hours to optimize results.

Treatment takes, on average, about 15 minutes. There is little to no downtime associated with SkinVive treatments.
Results are nearly immediate with SkinVive and can last up to 6 months with optimal treatment. Some patients have said to see results last up to 9 months.
Common side effects include redness, lumps/bumps, swelling, bruising, pain, tenderness, firmness, discoloration, and itching, which typically resolve within 7 days. Persistent side effects may require treatment from your physician with medications like antibiotics, steroids, or hyaluronidase. In addition, adverse events such as inflammation, nodules, unsatisfactory results, allergic reactions, anxiety, blood vessel blockage, infection, dry skin, changes in sensation, and abscesses have been reported. Delayed-onset inflammation near injection sites and the risk of infection are known risks associated with dermal filler procedures.
